The Transition Summer School is a scheme running throughout the Summer holidays to focus on ensuring pupils are at the expected level for entry into secondary school. This will make sure that when they start in their new school they will hit the ground running, and feel more comfortable in their new classes having already touched upon the new topic areas.

Tuition is on a one-to-one basis, at a time to suit you. Pupils are even tutored in their own home.

How many sessions will my child need?
That depends.
In the first session that your child has I will assess the level that they are working at. This will include a standardised maths test and reading test. I will then recommend the appropriate number of sessions, however you choose how many you would like, and how often you would like them.

Do I have to continue the tuition after the Summer holidays?
No.
This is a standalone tutoring scheme, and there is no obligation to continue after the Summer holidays. If you do wish to continue, however, we are able to offer small discounts for continued custom.
Will my child have the same tutor in all sessions?
Yes.
I am the only tutor offering tutoring at present, which allows me to really understand the needs of tutees and to offer the best possible assistance for a great start in secondary school.
