Payments are made directly to the tutor after the sessions. This can be by cash or by cheque. We are, however, unable to take payment via electric funds, e.g. debit and credit card.

How can I Pay?
The first step is to get in touch with me to discuss your needs. The best ways to do this is via the on-line form (contact page), telephone or email. During our initial discussion we can go through which subjects you require tuition for, the cost for session and other options available. If you are not sure of your needs then I am able to contact your child's subject teacher on your behalf to clarify how I am best able to help. From this point you are able to decide whether you would like to book a session.

Where do I start?
You are able to get help with literacy and numeracy from 7yrs, and Maths and Science throughout Key Stage 3 (from Year 7) all of the way through to GCSE. We also have contacts available for a huge range of other subject areas. Discounts are available for multiple sessions, e.g. pupils being tutored for Maths and Science or two siblings being tutored. We also offer English, Maths and Science tuition in our Transition Summer School for Year 6 pupils who will be standing Year 7 the next academic year, as well as help with literacy and numeracy across all age ranges.

What can I get help with?
Can I work with the same tutor again?
Tutoring is on an hourly basis, and so this is the minimum time that you are able to have. 1.5hr sessions are available on request. How the hour session is used can be discussed as combinations are possible, e.g. 1/2hr maths and 1/2hr science.

There are no cancellation fees, and you are free to finish with the service whenever you choose. We do ask, however, that if you are cancelling a session to please give 24 hours notice so we are able to rearrange for another pupil to take your time slot.
Are there any cancellation fees?
Yes, one tutor carries out the tuition available. I feel that this is a huge advantage as I can quickly gain a sense of the tutee's strengths and weakness.
